Dunnamaggin’s oldest parishioner leads All-Ireland victory parade
THIS was the magical moment when Dunnamaggin’s oldest parishioner brought the All-Ireland cup back to the community.
Ray Cody Snr was flanked by his grandsons Michael and Ray and the rest of the jubilant team as they paraded the cup to the sound of cheers and applause as the Maggin’ celebrated their hard-fought victory over Castleblayney in last Sunday’s All-Ireland junior club decider at Croke Park.
Dunnamaggin GAA summed up the feeling succinctly on social media: “Memories for a lifetime. All-Ireland Junior Champions 2018-2019. Unbelievable.”
