Dylan and Young confirm legendary status to adoring Kilkenny crowd
THAT was a gig that left everyone satisfied.
Bob Dylan and Neil Young hit the notes the crowd came to hear. Each one of the 28,000 in attendance sauntered off into the Kilkenny night with a spring in their step.
Maybe the London gig in Hyde Park was a warm-up for here, as Dylan seemed to take to the crowd and put on a storming display.
The highlight for many “Will the circle be unbroken” -the two men taking to the stage together for the first time in 27 years.
In fact, it was Dylan’s first duet in six years.
The venue, the crowd, and the city reaffirmed what we knew already. Kilkenny is a city made for concerts.
