Family pays moving tribute to Kilkenny ‘Angel’ on day of her 21st birthday

THE family of a Kilkenny ‘Angel’ has paid a beautiful tribute to her on the day that would have been her 21st birthday.
Ciara Lawlor (17) died tragically in July 2016 after collapsing at a Kodaline concert in Marlay Park, Dublin.
Yesterday her family posted a moving tribute on Facebook, accompanied by a beautiful video.
The post read: “21 yrs ago today a princess joined our family but left us to fly with the angels 6 weeks shy of her 18th birthday.
“Cherish every second with your child.
“Twitter can wait, FB can wait.
“Snuggle together under the duvet, eat popcorn and watch Netflix.”

Ciara’s tragic and untimely death touched many, including the band Kodaline. Since then the Dublin band have done everything they can to keep Ciara’s memory alive. They performed at her funeral and donated items for fundraising events in her name. They also penned a song for her titled ‘Angel’.
Earlier this year they played an amazing tribute to Ciara at a gig in Dublin in which they featured a giant montage of the Kilkenny teenagers from video clips provided to them by her family.
