Final call for tickets to business event of the year

A LIMITED number of tickets are still available for Kilkenny’s business event of the year.

The 2018 Kilkenny Business Awards will take place this Saturday at the Lyrath Estate Hotel. Forty-four local businesses of all sizes have been shortlisted for this year’s awards.

Organisers today confirmed  a limited number of tickets are still available for the networking event of the year, but advised anyone thinking of attending the black-tie event to book now to avoid disappointment.

Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce also stressed that all members of the local business community, regardless of whether their businesses have been shortlisted or if they are Chamber members, are welcome to attend the gala event.

The awards ceremony will be hosted by RTE’s Mary Kennedy (pictured above with Chamber President Marion Acreman and CEO John Hurley) and once the winners are announced an evening of dinner, drinks and dancing will follow. A new edition this year, sponsored by MacDonagh Junction Shopping Centre, will see guests capturing the night in a 360 ‘Oh Wow’ Video Booth.  The 19 category winners and the overall Business of the Year award will be announced along with The President’s Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Tickets are priced between €85 for members and €95 for non-members. The price includes a four-course dinner, drinks reception, entertainment, spot-prizes and the ‘OH WOW’ 360 Video Booth. Visit www.kilkennychamber.ie or call 056 7752767 to purchase.
