Funding approved to complete works at county Kilkenny school
Government funding has been approved to complete works at a county Kilkenny school.
Grennan College in Thomastown was given green light for the funding under the Emergency Works Scheme to complete mechanical and electrical works on its grounds.
The news was welcomed by Carlow-Kilkenny TD Jennifer Murnane O’Connor. She said: “I’d like to praise the work and efforts of the school community in securing this funding, and a formal letter of approval will be issued shortly.”
