€50,000 fund to help Kilkenny start-ups grow their business

Early-stage Kilkenny start-up companies and budding entrepreneurs are being encouraged to apply for funding that could help them become an international success story.

Kilkenny TD John Paul Phelan is encouraging budding enterprises to apply for the Competitive Start Fund (CSF), which is providing €50,000 to local start-ups and entreprenavaeurs looking for help to grow their business.

It is part of an overal €1 million funding announced by Business, Employment and Retail Minister Damien English and Enterprise Ireland this week. .

Deputy Phelan said: “This fund is aimed at start-ups with the potential and ambition to succeed on the global stage. That could well be a new business in Kilkenny.

“It is open to early-stage companies across all sectors with an eligible innovative product or service set for global markets,” Deputy Phelan (pictured below) added.

Kilkenny start-ups and entrepreneurs interested in applying should visit the Enterprise Ireland website. The closing date is May 25, 2021.
