Kilkenny woman’s wedding to Prince William’s best pal will be a right royal affair

THE Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, will deliver a speech at a Kilkenny teacher’s wedding after she said ‘yes’ to his best friend.
Lucy Lanigan O’Keeffe (31) will wed Thomas van Straubenzee, one of Prince William’s closest friends, after he proposed to her last week.
Today is emerged that Prince William, currently in second in line to the throne, will be a member of Mr van Straubenzee’s wedding party and will delivers a speech at the celebrations.
Prince George, the eldest son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, will be a page boy at the wedding, while his sister Princess Charlotte will be a flower girl.
Prince George attends the school where Lucy Lanigan-O’Keeffe is the assistant head teacher, Thomas’s Clapham, in Battersea. Her fiancé Thomas van Straubenzee is the godfather of four-year-old Princess Charlotte.
Aside from her role as assistant head teacher, Lucy Lanigan O’Keeffe is deeply involved in charity work and runs the social action projects for Thomas’s schools across London.
Prince William was reportedly one of the first to hear of the couple’s engagement.
