Garda warning as Kilkenny beauty spots targeted by thieves
Gardai have urged people visiting Kilkenny beauty spots not to leave valuables in their cars before taking a hike.
The warning comes after a number of vehicles were previously targeted in scenic parts of the county.
A local Garda spokesperson said: “Thieves target these spots, leave your valuables at home or bring them with you. Wallets, phones, handbags etc are all too tempting for the opportunist offender.”
