WEATHER FORECAST: Kilkenny to bask in Spring sunshine this week – forecaster
Kilkenny residents can look forward to a beautiful dry and mostly sunny week ahead as high pressure continues to dominate our weather, according to Met Éireann’s latest forecast.
The national forecaster said it will be “mainly dry” today with sunny spells and highest temperatures of 11 to 16 degrees.
Tomorrow will also be dry and sunny, although a few light showers may break out, with temperatures rising to as high as 17 degrees.
Met Éireann said “most areas will be dry and sunny” throughout Wednesday, but warned “cloud will build over parts of the southwest with a few showers developing”. It added: “Mild with highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees in mostly light southeasterly breezes. Turning chilly later with another dry and mostly clear night. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees generally.”
Thursday is also set to be a mild, dry and sunny day with light breezes and highest temperatures again ranging from 13 to 17 degrees.
Current indications suggest it will continue mainly dry and sunny for Friday and the weekend, with light breezes and just a possibility of a few light showers breaking out and highest temperatures generally of 13 to 16 degrees.
