Gardai identify Kilkenny youths they want to question over sex attack on underage girls: Report

GARDAÍ visited locations in Kilkenny as part of their ongoing investigation into the alleged rape of an underage girl and the sexual assault of two others in Co Wexford over the weekend.

Reports in the national press say gardai have identified the young males they wish to question in relation to the alleged assaults. They have visited locations in both Kilkenny and Waterford, but no arrests have yet been made.

The three girls, two aged 14, and one 16-years old, and originally from Dublin, were allegedly attacked in Courtown, Co. Wexford on Sunday night.

Gardai this afternoon renewed their appeal for information into what they are calling a serious assault.

Anyone with information and who has not yet come forward is asked to contact Gorey garda station on 053 943 0690 or the Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.
