BBQ and gardening tools stolen during break-in at Kilkenny house

A number of expensive goods were stolen during a burglary in county Kilkenny overnight.

The theft occurred a house in the Lismaine area of Jenkinstown between 1am and 9am this morning.

A local Garda source confirmed the culprits managed to force open the door of the garage to gain access.

A Weber BBQ, a Parker chainsaw, a Parker leaf blower and a Boku strimmer were all taken.

Potential witnesses or anyonewho noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
