Grass them up: Thieves steal ride-on mower from county Kilkenny home
A ride-on lawnmower and strimmer were stolen during a break-in at a house in county Kilkenny.
The burglary occurred from the garage of a house in Maudlin, Castlecomer between 10pm on Monday night and 9am on Monday morning, when the owner noticed the machinery was missing.
The stolen ride-on mower is a red Castlegarden mower worth €1,800.
Anyone with information, or who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area at that time is asked to contact Castlecomer Garda Station on 056 444 0650.
