Has Santa made a secret trip to Kilkenny? Cryptic clue left on local road …
It appears Santa Claus is coming to town. Well, that’s if the cryptic clue that has suddenly sprung up on a Kilkenny road is to be believed.
Despite being under Level 5 restrictions, it seems Santa has somehow managed to beat the Lapland lockdown to get a message out to the boys and girls of Kilkenny.
Father Christmas is not known for dropping hints of his impending arrival, but this is a very unusual year – so it’s perhaps not surprising this unusual sign was spotted, leading people to believe it was put there by Santa himself, or at least one of his elves.
The cryptic clue appeared on a road sign on the R679 between Kilmoganny and Kells showing Rudolf, resplendent with red nose and antlers, prancing across the sky.
With just eight weeks to go until the big day, it’s the first sign yet that Santa is going to do everything he can to get those presents to all the boys and girls in Kilkenny.
Has anyone else seen any clues from Santa?
