The cold weather will continue for the foreseeable future, although tomorrow and Sunday will be mostly dry in Waterford and throughout the South East.

The national forecaster said: “Cold and frosty on Sunday night with patchy mist and fog also with overnight lows of 0 to -3 degrees.”

Monday and Tuesday are also forecast to be cold, bright and dry and that pattern is likely to continue next week.
