Hero mum Linda Comerford is Kilkenny’s Carer of the Year
There’s s a very popular winner of Kilkenny’s Carer of the Year when a local mother who cares for, and campaigns for, her four children who have additional needs, was presented with the award.
Linda Comerford was announced as the 2019 winner and will now go on to represent Kilkenny in the National Carer of the Year awards.
Linda is a strong advocate for her children and is involved in campaigns for the right to access the proper supports and services her children need.
Netwatch ambassador Mick Galwey presented Linda with her award.
The Carer of the Year Awards will be presented at a ceremony which takes place in Dublin in November 2019.
