Historic Kilkenny hotel given green light for new accommodation plans
A popular county Kilkenny hotel has been given the green light to expand its accommodation offering.
Kilkenny County Council has granted planning permission to the Avalon House Hotel in Castelcomer to transform an existing “out office building” adjacant to the hotel into a two-bedroom cottage for short term use.
Avalon House and the building on the site are protected structures.
