John B Keane’s ‘Sive’ is brought to the stage in Goresbridge
THEATRE lovers are in for a treat in Ionad Dara, Goresbridge, tomorrow night when John B Keane’s play ‘Sive’ will be performed by the Fourth Wall Laois Theatre Group.
‘Sive’ was first performed in Listowel, Co Kerry in 1959 and it tells the story of a young woman who is promised in marriage to an older man.
The show starts at 8.30pm. Tickets cost €10/€12. All proceeds go to Scoil Bhríde.
