Just the ticket: talented Kilkenny businesswoman shortlisted for prestigious award

A YOUNG Kilkenny woman has been shortlisted for a prestigious business award.
Laura Kavanagh, Commercial Director of JJ Kavanagh & Sons has been nominated for Young Businesswoman of the Year at the IMAGE Businesswomen Awards.
The annual awards recognise women in business, from CEOs of major firms to those behind some of the country’s most ambitious start-ups.
Laura, the director of one Ireland’s largest coach operators, who happen to be celebrating their 100th birthday this year, faces stiff competition from nine other nominees in her category.
This is the 13th year of the IMAGE awards and the gala awards ceremony will be held in Dublin on November 25th.
