WE’RE not sure how long the sunny weather will last so make the most of it this weekend by dining al fresco!

Here’s our list of suggestions for tickling you taste buds in Kilkenny while the sun is shining.

Stathams at the Pembroke Hotel, Patrick Street:

Café la Coco, Patrick Street:

Small and cosy, this little gem offers the tastiest pancakes, coffee and other light bites, including vegetarian options. The street-front seating offers a bird’s-eye view for people watching.

Kyteler’s Inn, St. Kieran’s Street:

With a history dating back to 1263, this popular offers everything from sandwiches to prime steak, pastries to hot & spicy chicken wings. You can enjoy a glass of wine or beer out in the courtyard while tasting traditional fare. 

Pure Bar, Hotel Kilkenny, College Road:

Escape the city and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere in this stylish bar and patio. Their carefully crafted menu offers a wide range of dishes such as fresh cod tempura, Asian noodle stir-fry, homemade chicken liver paté, vegetable chickpea curry and more.
