Kilkenny businesses invited to attend ‘one-to-one’ Brexit advisory clinic
IS your business prepared for Brexit?
The Local Enterprise Office is hosting a free done-to-one Brexit Advisory Clinic on Tuesday, April 16 with Brexit advisor Denis Casey, and all local companies who will be affected by Britain leaving the EU are urged to avail of this opportunity.
Local Enterprise Office Kilkenny said: “Brexit poses a significant threat to the Irish economy and to SME sector in particular, due to our high trade intensity with the UK. The negative impacts associated with Brexit could adversely have knock-on effects on Irish production and ultimately on the economy as a whole.
“Owner and managers need to undertake an individual risk assessment for their own business and prepare to take action to mitigate against changes in financial and currency management, sourcing arrangements, customs, transport and logistics. To assist in this process, the Local Enterprise Office Kilkenny is offering a one-to-one Brexit Advisory Clinic for businesses based in Kilkenny to undertake a risk assessment.”
Denis Casey of Casey Business Consulting is an InterTradeIreland approved Brexit Consultant. He provides support to businesses under its Brexit Start to Plan Voucher, which he uses to guide business owners through a structured risk assessment process.
A limited number of places are available for the Brexit Advisory Clinic. To book an appointment, email bookings@leo.kilkennycoco.ie or phone 056 775 2662.
