Kilkenny five-star venue named in new list of Ireland’s Top 10 hotels

Kilkenny’s Mount Juliet Estate & Golf Club has been named in a new list of Ireland’s Top 10 hotels.

The sprawling estate on the outskirts of Thomastown came in fifth place in the Irish Independent Reader Travel Awards for 2020.

County Limerick’s Adare Manor topped the list, followed by the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin. Asford Castle in county Mayo came in third, followed by Dublin’s Westbury Hotel.

It is just the latest accolade for Mount Juliet. The county Kilkenny’s venue’s golf course was recently named among the world’s top 100 courses by Golfscape.
