Kilkenny gardai seize €5,000 of cannabis and MDMA during search of house in city
KILKENNY gardai have made another significant drugs seizure in the city.
A 36-year-old man was arrested after gardai discovered around €5,000 worth of herbal cannabis and MDMA during a search of a house in the Newpark area last Thursday.
“Drug paraphernalia” and a large quantity of contraband cigarettes were also found at the property, a Garda source confirmed to KilkennyNow.ie.
The suspect was taken to Kilkenny Garda Station for questioning.
He is due to appear before Kilkenny District Court to face charges relating to the sale and supply of illegal drugs.
