Kilkenny gardai urge homeowners to be vigilant in battle against burglars

KILKENNY gardai have been maintaining “high visibility” checkpoints across the county in recent days.

The move is part of an operation to deter burglars from targeting homes and properties across the county.

Local gardai have urged householders to be vigilant, saying: “Remember to light up. Lock up your property. Set the alarm. Report any suspicious people or vehicles to gardai.”
