Kilkenny restaurant receives NINE nominations at Ireland’s ‘food Oscars’

LAST month Ristorante Rinuccini celebrated it’s 30th birthday in style. Now the renowned Kilkenny establishment has another reason to celebrate after it received no fewer than nine nominations for the Irish Restaurant Awards 2019.

Chef proprietor Anthony Cavaliere has been nominated in the Best Chef category, while Ricardo Rinuccini is in the running to be named Ireland’s Best Restaurant Manager.

Rinuccini has been nominated in the overall Best Restaurant category. And it has received separate nominations in six other diverse categories, including Best Casual Dining, Best Customer Service, Best World Cuisine, Best Wine Experience, Best Seafood Experience and Best Digital Marketing.

Commenting on its achievement of sweeping the boards in the nominations of Ireland’s ‘food Oscars, the restaurant said on social media: “Today’s post brought a nice surprise. We’re delighted to be nominated for awards in nine categories at this year’s #irishrestaurantawards. Thank you for taking the time to vote for us.”
