Kilkenny Rose Helena Hughes presents sashes to Castlecomer’s contestants
KILKENNY Rose Helena Hughes was on hand to present sashes to the Castlecomer contestants of this year’s event in the north Kilkenny town last night.
The night kicked off in style at the Vault Bar at 9pm and was very well attended by locals and businesses who have helped to sponsor Castlecomer’s first ever Rose event.
The winning girl will be chosen at the Castlecomer Rose Selection night at Shortall’s Bar & Lounge on Saturday, March 9.
They will go on to represent Castelcomer at the Kilkenny Rose of Tralee Selection 2019 in the Ormonde Hotel in April.
