Kilkenny youth groups encouraged to sign up to €100,000 community competition

Youth groups in Kilkenny are being encouraged to apply for funding celebrating the work of kids during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Coca-Cola Thank You Fund are looking for the next Kilkenny group to follow in the footsteps of Buddy Bench Ireland and claim €10,000 to support community initiatives around the county.

Kilkenny-based Buddy Bench Ireland was one of 13 organisations nationwide recipients of the Coca-Cola Thank You Fund.

Buddy Bench Ireland educates young people on positive mental well-being with evidence-led lessons on topics such as kindness, friendship, resilience, and emotional intelligence.

With the deadline for applications this Friday, the Coca-Cola thank you fund is reminding youth groups who want to get involved to act fast.

The €100,000 fund is open to to all youth-orientated non-profit groups committed to protecting the future of a post pandemic generation.
