LATEST: 11 new cases of virus confirmed in Kilkenny as six further deaths confirmed
A further six more people have died after contracting the coronavirus as 183 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed this evening.
It brings the overall death told as a result of the virus to 2,080 . There are now73,228 confirmed cases of Covid-19 across the country, according to the latest daily briefing from the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET).
The breakdown of the latest cases is as follow: 56 are in Dublin, 26 in Donegal, 13 in Limerick, 11 in Kilkenny, 11 in Monaghan with the remaining 66 cases spread across 15 other counties.
