LATEST: 1,751 new cases of virus confirmed
A further 1,751 people have contracted the coronavirus, the Department of Health confirmed this evening.
That’s a decrease of 38 on yesterday’s figures.
Meanwhile, the number of people bring treated in hospital for the virus now stands at 343, down 17 on yesterday’s total.
Some 59 of these are being treated in ICU, up three on yesterday’s numbers.
