Kilkenny gardai probe bizarre case of criminal damage

A COUNTY Kilkenny business owner was left perplexed after he arrived at his premises to discover a side window on one of his vehicles had been carefully removed and placed directly in front of it.

The bizarre incident occurred at the premises in Maddockstown sometime between 7.30pm last Wednesday and 8.30am the next morning.

A local Garda spokesperson told KilkennyNow.ie: “Gardaí in Bennettsbridge are appealing for information regarding an incident of criminal damage that occurred in a yard at Maddockstown. The owner of the business returned to his yard to find a vehicle on site had been interfered with. The driver’s side window of a vehicle had been removed and placed in front of the vehicle. There was no other damage or property taken.”
