LATEST: Highest number of daily cases in six months confirmed
A total of 1,828 new cases of Covid-19 are being reported today.
That’s an increase of 46 on yesterday’s figures and the highest daily total recorded since February.
According to the Covid data hub, there are 198 people in hospital who have tested positive for the virus, nine more than yesterday.
There are 33 people in ICU, an increase of three of yesterday’s figures.
