Woman arrested over death of toddler at apartment complex
A WOMAN in her 30s has been arrested in connection with the death of a two-year-old girl in Cork last Friday.
The toddler, Santina Cawley, was found in a critical condition in an apartment at the Elderwood complex on the Boreenmanna Road, Cork.
She died in hospital on Friday morning.
On Saturday a murder inquiry was launched following the results of a post-mortem examination.
Gardai are continuing to examine CCTV from the area, and carry out door-to-door inquiries.
