Now they’re sucking diesel! Thieves steal fuel from diggers at county Kilkenny site

Thieves made off with a large haul of diesel after they siphoned the fuel from trench diggers parked at a site in south Kilkenny.

The robbery occurred in Tinlough, Kilmacow, sometime in the early hours of last Friday morning.

The vehicles were filled with diesel shortly after 4pm the previous day. The next morning it was discovered that the locks on the tanks were broken and all the fuel had been taken.

Gardai are investigating the theft. They have urged witnesses or anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the Kilmacow area at the time to contact the local Garda station on 051 880 122.
