Little Pug found wandering alone on M9 adopted by her Garda carer

THE cute little Pug puppy who was rescued by Kilkenny gardai after she was found wandering alone on the motorway has won over the hearts of her adopted Garda carers.

Officers picked up the distressed dog after she was spotted “making a bid for freedom” on the M9 between the Piltown and Kilkenny exits.

Earlier this week gardai issued a public appeal for the puppy’s owner to get in touch with Kilkenny Garda Station. No-one has yet come forward to claim the lost puppy.

But even if no one turns up to pick up the Pug, this story is set to have a happy ending.

A local Garda source told KilkennyNow.ie the dog has made quite an impression her adopted minders at Kilkenny Garda Station – despite her incredibly loud snoring!

So much so that one female Garda at the station is planning to give her a permanent home if nobody comes forward to claim her by this evening.
