Lucy helps Eddie Rockets make a meal deal out of diner’s 30th birthday celebrations
IT was a case of going back to the future at the Eddie Rockets diner in Kilkenny today as the fast food restaurant chain celebrated its 30th birthday with a special meal deal – at 1980s prices.
In Dublin, celebrity presenter Lucy Kennedy joined in the celebrations with Eddie Rockets founder Niall Fortune (pictured together below) as crowds thronged the South Anne Street diner, where the hugely successful chain opened its first restaurant back in 1989.
To mark the occasion, every Eddie Rockets diner in the country offered a special 30th anniversary meal deal – Classic Hamburger, Classic Fries & Soda – for just €5.89.
