Man (20) found with drug ready for sale at Kilkenny business park
A man who was stopped and searched in a business park in Kilkenny was found with cannabis on him, all ready for sale.
The 20 year-old-man was stopped by members of Kilkenny gardai in the Loughboy area after they had received reports of a person acting suspiciously on Sunday evening.
After stopping the man, gardai searched him and found he was in possession of cannabis with an estimated worth of €1,300.
The man was arrested and brought to Kilkenny Garda Station where he was charged, and subsequently released.
He is due to appear at a sitting of Kilkenny District Court in the coming weeks.
