Man (30s) charged with possession of explosives in Kilkenny city
A man has been charged in connection with the possession of explosives at a property in Kilkenny city.
The man, who is in his 30s, was arrested on Friday evening after the explosives were discovered during a search of the property on Church Lane.
He was held for questioning at Kilkenny Garda Station over the weekend.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed the suspect will appear before a special sitting of Kilkenny District Court today.
