Man in critical condition airlifted to hospital following horror crash in Kilkenny

A MAN remains in a critical condition today, after being airlifted to hospital following a horror crash in county Kilkenny last night.
The accident occurred on the N25 road close to Glenmore just before 6pm yesterday evening.
The man was travelling in the direction of Waterford when the car he was driving left the road, went through a ditch and ended up in a field.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, and the road was temporarily closed, and then a stop/go system was put in place.
The man was removed from the car and airlifted to University Hospital Waterford, he remains in a critical condition.
