Man rushed to hospital after vicious late night attack in Kilkenny city-centre
A man had to be rushed to hospital after he was viciously assaulted in Kilkenny city-centre over the weekend.
The attack occurred at The Parade just after midnight on Saturday.
A local Garda source confirmed the victim, a male in his 20s, was struck by a man wearing dark grey shorts and a black top
The victim was taken to St Luke’s General Hospital by ambulance, where they were treated for their injuries.
Gardai in Kilkenny are investigating the assault. They have urged anyone who may have witnessed the attack, or anyone with dash cam footage of the incident, to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
