Man rushed to hospital after light aircraft crash in county Kilkenny
An investigation has been launched following a light aircraft accident in county Kilkenny.
The aircraft came down near Woolengrange between Bennettsbridge and Thomastown at around 4.30pm yesterday.
A man, the pilot, was the only person in the plane and received non-serious injures during the crash. He was taken to St Luke’s General Hospital to be treated.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, which is still being preserved for an air crash investigator from the Irish Aviation Authority to attend.
