Man arrested after gardai seize drugs during raid on house in Kilkenny city
A man is due to appear in court after after drugs were seized during a Garda raid on a house in Kilkenny.
The drugs were discovered during a planned operation by the Kilkenny Divisional Drugs Unit on a house in the city on Saturday evening.
A local Garda spokesperson confirmed officers seized €500 worth of cocaine, €300 cannabis, cash and “other paraphernalia consistent with the sale and supply of drugs”.
The man was charged with possession of controlled drugs for unlawful sale or supply.
He is due to appear before an upcoming sitting of Kilkenny District Court.
