New housing development planned for centre of Kilkenny village

Plans to build six new family homes in the centre of a county Kilkenny village have been lodged with the local Authority.

Developer Brian O’Driscoll is seeking planning permission from Kilkenny County Council to build the six homes at Oldcourt in Templeorum.

The development consists of the construction of six new dormer dwellings, built across two separate blocks.  Each block will consist of two semi-detached and one terraced dwelling.

The plans call for the creation of a new entrance onto public road and on-site parking, as well as all other associated site works.

A decision on whether to grant permission will be made in early May.
