No codding: Slippery thieves steal pet fish from garden of Kilkenny home

Gardai are casting their net wide after a large number of pet fish were stolen from a Kilkenny garden.

The thieves entered the garden of a house on Kilkenny’s Dublin Road sometime between 11pm on Friday, August 21 and 6am on Saturday, August 22.

Once inside, they made their way to a pond in the garden contain a large amount of goldfish.

The owners estimate up to €100 worth of fish were stolen from the property.

Gardai have urged any witnesses or anyone with information about the theft to contact Kilkenny Garda Station 056 777 5000.
