One of Kilkenny’s most popular pubs has applied to the local authority for permission to erect new signs outside its premises.
Left Bank Bars Ltd, the owners of The Left Bank and the adjoining Rive Gauche Restaurant, is seeking permission for a new development which “will consist of the erection of signage of varying format to both the Patrick Street and Parade elevations of The Left Bank premises”.
The new signage requires approval from Kilkenny County Council as The Left Bank, one of Kilkenny city’s most iconic buildings, is a protected structure.
