Pet dog stolen during break-in at county Kilkenny home
GARDAI are hunting for heartless thieves who broke into a county Kilkenny home and stole a pet dog.
The back door of the house in Glenmore was broken into sometime between 2pm last Thursday and midday on Sunday.
A local Garda spokesperson confirmed the dog, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, was the only thing that was taken in the break-in.
Gardai have urged potential eyewitnesses or anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time to contact Glenmore Garda Station on 051 880 122.

You’re not meant to use emotive language like “heartless” in a news report, even if someone is.
You’re meant to report facts and who, where, what, why, how… not personal adjectives.
