Plans for mixed development of family homes and serviced sites in Kilkenny town unveiled

Plans for a large housing development, which will include the provision of a number of serviced sites, has landed on the desk of Kilkenny County Council planners.

Developer Andrew Glennon is seeking to build 41 family homes and eight serviced sites on a new development at Friars Walk, Clashacollare in Callan.

The development will be a mix of two-storey semi-detached and terraced houses with the serviced sites interspersed.

The application also calls for boundary works, road works and all associated site works.

The council will receive submissions from the public on the proposed development up until April 27 and a decision is expected by the middle of May.
