Popular Kilkenny city shopping centre gets green light to expand retail offering

A shopping centre in Kilkenny city has been granted permission to expand its retail offering and facilites for customers.

Newpark Shopping Centre applied to Kilkenny County Council in July of this year for planning permission to extend its existing premises.

The plans called for the addition of a new unit, along with a lift and stairs at the centre.

Council planners have now approved the plans from developer Patrick O’Brien to allow for the creation of the four metre extension and all associated works.
