Relief as Kilkenny homeowners will not be hit with property takes hikes this year
Kilkenny homeowners will not face increased Local Property Tax bills next year.
It comes after Finance Minister Pascal Donohoe confirmed the revaluation date for Local Property Tax (LPT) has been deferred until November 2021.
This means local taxpayers will not be faced with increased LPT bills for 2021.
A Government source said the minister will be “bringing forward proposals for primary legislation to implement the Programme for Government commitments on LPT in early 2021”.
