Sat Nav stolen from car parked in Kilkenny city

One local car owner had a miserable start to the New Year after his vehicle was broken into on the first day of 2020.

A thief made off with a Sat Nav device after he broke into a car that was parked in Lintown Grove, Johnswell Road in  the city sometime between 8.30pm on New Year’s Eve and 8pm the next day.

A Local Garda spokesperson said: “The car was parked on the roadside, a Garmin Sat Nav was taken. There was no damage to the car.”
