REST IN PEACE: Kilkenny Death Notices

Connolly Jim, Publican, of Connollys Pub, Dunbell, Maddoxtown, Co. Kilkenny. ( R95 HDN4). Died Thursday 2nd January 2020 suddenly at his home. Pre-deceased by his infant son Ger, his mother Liz in recent days, and his dad Gerard. Sadly missed by his loving wife Teresa.

Brothers Michael, John, Dominic, Paschal, Gerry, his right hand man Keith, sisters in law, brother in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and a wide circle of cherished friends, neighbours and customers.

Reposing at his home on Saturday 4th January from 2 pm with rosary at 8 o clock Funeral to arrive at St. Colmans church, Clara, Kilkenny on Sunday 5th January for 12 noon mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Cardiac Risk Unit (CRU), Tallaght Hospital. Donation Box will be located in the church. House private please on Sunday morning.

Castle Gardens, Kilkenny city

Colin Deevy (Castle Gardens, Kilkenny) January 3rd 2020 (peacefully) at St. Luke’s Hospital. Predeceased by his father Gordon. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, mother Breda, sisters Honor and Susan, brothers Bob and Cyril, sister-in-law Ela, brothers-in-law Colin and Richard, his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and his large circle of friends.

Reposing at Hehir’s Funeral Home (R95 FH90) from 5p.m. on Sunday (Jan. 5th) with Funeral Prayers at 6.30p.m. followed by removal to St. Patrick’s Church. Funeral on Monday after 11a.m. Requiem Mass to Foulkstown Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Carlow/Kilkenny Homecare Team.

Julia HENNESSEY (née Young)
Wallstown, Tullaroan

Julia Hennessy (nee Young), Wallstown, Tullaroan, Co. Kilkenny.

Julia died peacefully on Friday 3rd January 2020, in the loving care of Anne and Staff at Drakelands House Nursing Home, Kilkenny, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her husband Billy. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing family, daughters Kay Whelan, Mary Hoyne, Nora Hayes, Helen Bambrick, Sheila Andrews and son Eddie, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother John, sister Mary, Ellen and Kathleen, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home on Saturday 4th January from 2pm. Funeral Prayers at 6pm followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Tullaroan arriving at 7pm approx. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 10.30am with burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballykeeffe.
