REST IN PEACE: Kilkenny Death Notices

O’Dwyer; Ballyverneen, Glenmore, Co. Kilkenny. 17th October 2020 Lily May, predeceased by her grandfather Denis. Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family following a illness borne with courage and dignity. Deeply regretted by heartbroken family, parents John & Una, brother Denis, sisters Emma Kate & Marie Claire, Grandparents Peggy, Eugene & Siobán, Aunts Fionnuala, Edel, Siobhan, Isabel, Moyra, Kay & Mairead, Uncle Michael, Uncles-in-law, Aunt-in-law, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing for family and close friends at her home.

Lily May funeral cortége will leave Ballyverneen (via Cappagh) at 11.30am on Thursday 22nd October for 12 noon Requiem Mass in St. James’ Church Glenmore followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Due to H.S.E Guidelines the Requiem Mass will be for immediate family only (max 25 people).

Alva Williams ( Formerly Cloughjordan Co Tipperary) died, peacefully, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, in his 92nd yea. Predeceased by his wife Vera. Sadly missed by his loving family, Yvonne, Charles, Esme, Des, Alma, Mabel and Mervyn, sons in law Richard, Matt, Tommy and Eddie, daughter in law Aileen, grandchildren (15), great-grandchildren (11), brother Alwyn, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Johnstown, on Tuesday, arriving for funeral service at 2pm for family only (max 25 people) followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. As per Covid 19 directives please comply with government guidelines regarding public gathering, social distancing, face covering at the Churchyard. Family flowers only, please. The Williams family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their understanding and support at this difficult time. House private please.
